As much as I love being in the kitchen and experimenting with cooking, it really can be a timely process.  That’s where quick easy recipes like this quick one-pan gnocchi bolognese are fantastic for feeding a family during the week.

Buying a packaged sauce bottle like a Leggos bolognese.  Is a great way to experiment with a lot of different flavours.

They take next to no time to prep and cook, to serve and enjoy.

Quick One-Pan Gnocchi Bolognese

Quick One-Pan Gnocchi Bolognese

This is an easy to make mid week recipe that your family will love.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbs Olive Oil Extra virgin
  • 1 Brown Onion Chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves crushed
  • 500 g Leggo's red wine Bolognese sauce
  • 500 g Fresh gnocchi
  • 50 g mozzarella slices
  • 1/2 cu Basil leaves
  • Grated parmesan

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan with a fitted lid over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, then cook for 4 minutes or until softened.
  • Add beef mince and cook, breaking up lumps and stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until browned.
  • Add sauce and gnocchi and stir to combine. Season, then push mozzarella into Bolognese surface.
  • Turn heat to low, cover with lid, and cook for 5 minutes or until gnocchi is cooked and mozzarella has melted. Serve topped with parmesan and basil leaves.

Notes

This is a tasty dinner meal, with an Italian flavour. You can make mid-week if you want, or make it advance and just freeze.
